Ok, did not search to see if this has been mentioned, so here goes. And I am dead serious. After 4 games with a less thatn stellar QB performance, would it be worth suggesting that Drew have a sit down with JJ, and JL if necessary, to have a open air heart-to-heart discussion with these two young men. I am thinking that JJ and JL have not had a lot of "expert" input, and I consider Brees an expert. I don't know if this would help, but as willing as Brees appears to be to help his adopted home state I don't think it would hurt. A good man to man discussion of what the current issues are and how to go about changing them, if possible. Again, as I watched another sub par game from JJ, I couldn't help but think maybe an outside, non-related source might be able to help in some small way to discuss mechanics, schemes, reads, etc.

Don't you think Drew has more important things to do right now?

GTFO. I'm sure Drew Brees could give two shits about LSU's QB situation... especially in the middle of the NFL regular season. Where do you come up with stuff like this?

Drew Brees doesn't care about LSU.

No kidding? Thanks for reminding me. I wasn't talking about a clinic. I am talking about a sit down for a couple of hours for discussion. An hour or two of an expert's opinion is quite possibly more than anything they've had so far....

Actually I think he might. I come up with this because it has far more interesting implications than the fricking 1,000,000 threads of the same ol'bullshite of JJ sux, JL sux, ....fill in the blank sux....

I don't think Drew can open that door without entertaining requests from umpteen other schools.

Maybe. We'll just continue on then in a plodding fashion doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result....

Brees is awesome. But, you are in love a little to much if you think Brees can solve LSU's QB issues in an hour long sit down.

No offense, but your suggestion is ridiculous for several reasons.

Rally though, GTFO. it has zero "interesting implications," because there is a better chance of JL starting Saturday than of Drew Brees even knowing about our QB situation.

hell, since he's such a good guy and all, maybe we can just ask him to paint himself black and play for us sat as kind of a warm up for the car. game. i don't think anybody would realize, they do wear the same jersey number and all.

Oh, haha. You caught me on a typo. Congrats. Still doesn't change the fact that you are trying to defend one of the dumber things posted on the Rant.

I was about to post something similar last night actually. Maybe not drew but almost an ex-qb or ex-coach that knows what the qbs should be working on in practice or something....there is obviously some kind of disconnect between practice and the game...and no one on the staff seems to be able to do shite about it..almost like a qb consultant to bring in mid-season...not a bad idea BUT Miles is waaaayyy too stubborn to bring an outside source in...he refuses to change his ways
