I'd rather have a poor offense, then a poor defense

just saying. At least we will always be in it, with a good chance to win. No one on our schedule will just run it down our throats or pass all over us. The 2nd half of the UNC game was a little scary, but since then its been solid. Let's not underestimate the Vols and get to 5-0.

while I understand the point you are trying to make, it is a sad day when that is thought of as a positive.

Well it is what it is...We are playing poorly at 1 very very important position on offense. But holding out hope it will get better.

I agree. Defense keeps you in games. Hell, it kept LSU from having a terrible season last year.

Oh - I agree.

Nobody will put up more than 17 to 28 points on us for the rest of the season. I feel pretty good about that.

See where I'm going??

We have a super defense. We have a super group of special teams players. Of course you see where I'm going.

What's our answer on offense? what? How many points do we score on teams that put up only 17 points? On teams that only put up 28 points?

We cannot expect our defense (and special teams) to always bail us out. Won't happen.

However, I will keep hoping..............

I agree with you everyday of the week. Defense is the way to go. The problem is correctable on offense a Les has a bunch of talent here. Imagine what kind of team this could be with a functioning play caller and offensive coordinator. Pretty special. Instead probably not even a West Title.
