I live in Shreveport and drove back from the game this morning. I listened to the post game show for 2hours. At one point Jordy Hultberg said..gray crowton has is hands tied, and ina straight jacket and is buried under Tiger stadium. They said more than one he has a short play list controlled by Miles and his hands are tied. At one point i heard them say, hello I'm gray crowton i used to call plays for LSU and I'm a Morman................

It was Gordy Rush who said that, and I agree with you. This offense is all Les Miles. Crowton is being severely handcuffed. However, we don't have the QB to run the same offense we ran in 2007.

That explains a lot and confirms what many of us have thought.

When we heard that on the way home I thought we'd wreck from us laughing so hard. True ... but funny the way it was said.

I dont think this is true. If Miles really had control over the offense we would go with simpler formations. More running out of the I etc. It seems this is very much Gary Crowton doing his thing. We go from one formation to a completely different formation. And we do alot of what Gary Crowton is known for. Now Miles may tell Gary to pass or run at times. But the actually plays come from Gary.

They also said (as they said I think last week) that they want to put the 2007 Gary Crowton picture on a milk carton ... MISSING.

I think he is right, Who runs Alabama's Defense? Who runs South Carolina's offense? Who runs Florida's offense? Who runs Arkansas's offense?

The coordinators? I think not.

Someone called Gordy and told him this, and he cut the guy off and said, "I'm not telling you what I think is going on; I'm telling you exactly what is going on." Gordy has some inside info, and I believe him.

Are you people serious?

1) It is Crowton's job to develop a QB. When he got handed an already developed QB (Flynn), he did fine. The truth is the man cannot coach QBs worth a shite. Simple things like teaching the QBs about the 4-second clock and throwing the ball past the chains on third down are completely missing from our game. He also has failed to teach our QBs how to predict the routes.

It isn't rocket science. If you have counted to four and nobody is open, run the frick out of there. If it is third down, throw it past the chains.

2) His offense is terribly predictable. Look at his career pattern. The first year with a new team, he puts up big numbers because no other teams know the offense. Then, the other teams get used to it and Crowton's numbers decline.

This happened at Louisiana Tech, BYU, Oregon, and the Chicago Bears. And it is happening to us.

3) He has no commitment to the run. We'll break off a huge play with Ridley, and then go out and throw it three times in a row to kill the drive. He's always gotta get "cute" and that usually results in something terrible.

I mean, seriously guys, if ya'll can't recognize we need a new OC, I'm at a loss here.

So Miles runs the plays huh? Should have known it was him when I look at these plays. Looks like a retarded monkey called these plays.

If it is all Les' fault, then why has LSU followed the exact same pattern as every other team Crowton has coached.

At a certain point, you have stop calling it a coincidence.

Miles is the caption of the ship. If he can't right it he needs to be gone.

So, Every Head Coach in the NFL and NCAA that calls their own plays has a playcard in their hand and is constantly referring to it, while they use it to cover their lips as they speak into the headset...that is-Every Coach But Miles??? Glad to know Miles memorized the Playbook and every down and distance scenario presented on the GameCard.

Miles is not calling plays. He doesn't have a card in his hands and isn't talking enough into the headset. Sorry. He's just not.

Nobody except the Coaches Wearing Headsets Knows what is being said on the headsets, but Miles isn't sending in the plays.

If that's true, then he needs to quit and get another job. I'm tired of hearing this over and over.

If I was a coach, but wasn't being allowed to "coach", then I'd quit and find another job where I could "coach"...you know, do what I'm getting paid for. I sure as hell wouldn't take the blame for an ineffective product without actually being able to improve it. I don't care how much money they're paying me.

So I don't know about all this talk. If it's true, then Crowton must be scared that he wouldn't last long anywhere else. Otherwise, he should leave and let people see who is really responsible.

That is bullshite, he sucked at his last job. All coordiantors say that when they know what is coming. He is trying to salvage the opportunity for another job which he will never get. This is on GC's shoulders, my only problem is that Miles allowed him to do it again after last year. makes me wonder how competent Miles is that he can't see that this guy sucks as an OC.

How many of those previous times did Crowton start with an experienced QB in his first year, then end up with very poor QBs in his 2nd-4th years? If you think Lee or Jefferson could run the same offense Flynn ran in 2007, I have some ocean front property in Iowa to sell you.

Also, with regards to "no one knowing his offense in his first year," were his previous teams' game films not available to his opponents?

Bottom line, we had QBs who could run the whole playbook in 2007; we don't anymore. Whether Miles or Crowton is responsible for the play calling is a moot point.
