Not too shabby so far. This is the first year I've cared, just because SC can't go to bowl. Now I know why Mississippi State cheers for UF.

Pac-10 steps in whenever the Big XII is down.

I like Oregon, Arizona, and Stanford.

Pac-10 definitely looks strong this year (ariz st should have won at wisconsin last week too).

If Oregon St wins tonight the national media will definitely be pumping the Pac 10 as the potential new top conference..... I think that would be going too far though.

I think the Pac-10 this year is better than the SEC. Overall from top to bottom the Pac-10 can handle the SEC on all levels. Especially if you look at it objectively.

Texas was very overrated before this game anyway. They hadnt look good all year.

Objectively, after 3 or 4 weeks it is at least debatable. I'll give you that. Which is more than could be argued the last few years.....Let's see how the rest of the season plays out.

Maybe, however there is a lot of parity this year. I only see 3 elite teams: bama, OSU, and nebraska. I think pac 10 teams could hold their own against all the other conferences

And in fairness to the Pac-10 I think Oregon and Stanford could prove to be every bit as good as Nebraska by the time the season is over.

The Pac Ten is much deeper than the Big Ten. Other than WSU and UW there isn't an easy game.

Yet, the SEC can't seem to break .500 against the PAC-10 in the past decade, when the SEC has been its toughest.

Disclaimer:. I am not sayng the PAC-10 is tougher than the SEC, which would be an opinion either way. I am just giving facts.

How is the PAC 10 deeper then the Big Ten???? The Big Ten has 6 teams in the top 25!! The Big Ten is a solid conference right now.

Did not say they weren't.

#24 Arizona over #9 Iowa (at AZ)
#11 Wisconson over Arizona State (at Wisc.)
#18 (or unranked) USC over Minnesota (at Minn.)

Maybe not deeper. But better head-to-head.

True. 54% > 30% to 50%

The PAC has 5 in the AP, 3 in the USA Today/Coaches poll (because SC isn't ranked). I know, I know, AP doesn't count.

PAC10 is arguably the best conference this year. Although, there is still a lot of football left to be played.

This would be my opinion as well with the Pac 10 possibly overtaking the Big Ten soon.
