believe it or not .. one of the cheapest, imo is hooters ... what places IYO are a little too proud of their suds ?

Ivar's I think used to be sort of expensive for a fricking dump. Their Shiner on tap always, ALWAYS, tasted awful.

I think Sammy's is $5.50 domestic draft pitchers all the time. Doesn't get much cheaper.
Walkons Sunday is 2-4-1.
Fox N the Hound always seems high, but can't remember what it is.
Ivar's I'm pretty sure is real high.
Zippy's is cheap.

Somewhat off topic. George's always pisses me off when I somehow find myself there. $3.25 or $3.50 bottle domestics and you have to get up to get it for yourself.
Chimes happy hour = $2.00/domestic 18 oz drafts.

Serranos' is only in business because of th elocation next to the Varsity and Chimes. Thier foodblows balls almost as bad as Walk Ons, and thatis saying alot.

yeah, i just remember when, if you were drinking draft, it really didn't cost you that much more than if you bought it at the grocery store .. but i was at buffalo wild wings for the 12 noon games sunday and was pretty amazed by how much my abita amber draft tab was ...

I seem to always have a problem with draft beer in Ivars...that and they are one of the most expensive places in town.
Zippys (as someone mentioned earlier) is one of the cheaper places...all day/night. I think they have $1.50 draft all of the time (unless that has changed).

Mi Padres...I went one evening last week during, what I thought was happy hour, had 4-5 beers and ended up with almost a $30 check...
