I just moved to Texas in Aug and I haven't gotten a driver’s license yet. My question to you is can I get a hunting license by showing them a bill w/ my address on it? Or do I have to get a driver’s license to get one?

I would show them your hunter's safety card if you have one. If you are still not old enough to have one, not really sure, just some form of ID.

Buy a lifetime LA Hunting license if you plan to go back there and hunt (assuming that's where you moved from)! Biggest mistake I ever made was not buying the lifetime la license before moving here!

To get a Resident Texas hunting license you have to be able to establish residency for more than six months immediately before applying for the license. Residency can be proven by a valid Texas drivers license, or any three of the following:

a current Texas homestead property tax statement
the most recent of six months utility bills
the most recent six month of paychecks
statement from parole board
current texas voter registration
current vehicle registration
