It looks as if he can run the zone read and option to miles liking. looks to have great touch on the screen pass. appears to be very comfortable. Guess he just wasnt good enough to recruit.

just threw a perfect corner fade for a td. I guess we were just too deep at qb to give him a look

Bottom line is that Miles and Crowton have no freaking clue about recruiting the right QB and even less about coaching and developing them.
It became a joke once the kids that Saban and Jimbo recruited and coached graduated.

He looked really good for getting plugged in as a 3rd string emergency situation.

And getting his arse busted by a crappy UCLA team. Broadway was angling more for a Bama offer and playing indifferent towards LSU.

If he didn't want to end up at Houston, he would have at least made an effort to show up at LSU once during recruiting. The fact is he was convinced his Bama offer was in the bag, and he basically told LSU to frick off. Missed every camp, never visited, etc. Once he realized Nick didn't want him, he was fricked and had to head over to CUSA.

unaware of this. probably knew he had no shot at LSU because we don't give good talent a chance.
