JJ is going to get lit up or injured then J Lee will end up being the QB anyway. Plus has that play really worked?

I am always scratching my head on why they keep running one of our two scholarship QB's?!?!

It's a wasted play every time it is called. He simply is not comfortable running the option and it's obvious. If we insist on running it, just put RS back their with a RB and let them do it instead.

"We are going to run the option until it works. I mean it is bound to work at least 1 out of 20 times right? And when it does, they'll be really sorry then." Signed, Miles/Crowton

I agree, so what if the D knows we are fixing to run option.

i think crowton second guesses himself a lot. maybe his reasoning to run the option is......"well, it's failed so much and the other plays have been working great, so let's run it now because surely the other team won't expect it". and then, after running it 10 times w/0 success in the game his thinking is........"let's call it again; no way they expect it again after 10 failures"

I remember yelling that at the top of my lungs during the Florida game last year. I've been saying this for a couple of years now. I hate that play. We have 10 yards for a first down, but crowton insists on our qb and rb getting a start 5 yards back. Nobody is ever fooled and every time that it seems to work it is only because our rb makes a great move to get past a defender.

I think about Donta Hightower of Alabama waiting for that play. Because just like last year, JL will get in the game.

So does sending RS in motion.

Do your part -- email the atletic office at football@lsu.edu

Here's my message:

Coach Miles:

I've watched LSU football for half a century and I've never seen a play consistently worse than the option LSU has been running for the last couple of years.

It doesn't work.

Please stop using it.

Thanks,

Liquid Rabbit
