Based on this defense alone...

how many games do you think we can win? I know everybody's gonna post "it's only Vandy!", but I've got to say the last time I've seen an LSU defense attack the ball with this much speed was back in 2006. My guess is, at worst, with this defense, we finish the season at 9-3. If our offense ever gets going, look out!!

They'll be a terror by the bowl game. 2011-12 looks excellent.

This defense could be absolutely awesome by midseason. If so, LSU could win 9. 10 if the offense picks up. Still sticking with my preseason prediction of 8 wins though, until the offense does something.

Agreed. I'm really looking forward to the matchup against Oregon next year. I think the speed of our defense will neutralize their explosive offense.
