Play action to PT, Brees dumps it off to Evans for the 1st. Other than the victory formation, of course. What say you?

Devery breaking off the route when Brees scrambled, resulting in TD.

Roman Harper dropping the hammer on Favre resulting in the Vilma pick

Malcolm Jenkins' attempt at giving Percy new migraines was my favorite.

PT running for the first down to seal the deal

My favorite D play by far. I should have specified fav offensive play.
The timing of the call, I mentioned, was great and the linebacker was completely fooled.

not a single for me, it was the three consecutive 3 & outs imposed to start the 2nd half. It was a hammer. A forceful imposition of will that said no you're not. If not for the one completion to Camarillo it would have been a 2nd half shutout.
That was a pretty strong answer to some of the questions about the defense.

the 3 1st downs on the last drive of the game

If we're talking offensive play, it's got to be the series of runs coming out in the 2nd half.
Nothing more humiliating than pounding the rock right up the gut, and just marching down the field almost the entire way like that. It's a show of power and imposes your will. Like, uh, rape.

This as well. Not just because of the TD, but because of the smart play by Henderson and Brees seeing it.

PT ran through 3 vikings for a first down.

Bushrod shutting down Allen. If Bushrod steps up it will be a huge boost for the offense.

I'm with you. I absolutely loved that last drive to seal the deal, with three first downs including converting on two third down situations (with a third and long). Fireworks are fun to watch, but I love those drives that seal wins. That was the most disappointing thing about last year's game against the Vikings. The Saints were in an almost identical situation with 3+ minutes left, the ball deep in their own territory and a chance to win by simply getting two first downs. And they went three and out and thankfully, were able to weather the storm with a miracle pick by Tracy. This time, they held it for 5+ minutes, got three first downs and sealed the deal. If you ask me, that's just as productive as what they did last year and that is a sign of another championship team.
How many remember when the 49ers were at their peak and the Saints D would play great against them all game long? It would be a tight low-scoring game within a FG or so, and then the 49ers would take the ball and either hold it to win if they had the lead, or drive down the field to win with a few seconds left.

my personal favorite is when they ran those two plays out of THE VICTORY FORMATION. those are always my favorite.

Reggie's 9 yard run that finished with putting #21 on his arse.

I thought Favre's play was the most offensive.

Just to add to the list, i'll say Jenkins' near pick. He showed a ton of speed and athleticism on that play.
Greer said after the game that that play really gave the D a huge shot of confidence in Jenkins.

Never mind. I'm an idiot. The game was tied last year when the Saints got the ball and went three and out.

The team couldn't run the whole night, then ran a draw by PT, picked up the first and from then on the running was on. At that point, Mn defense had no clue how to stop us.
