its not so much it was posted - as much as it was not stated that the pic of it was there - most people wanted to see it when it was unveiled tonight.
they are complaining about the lack of warning - kind of like a movie review that reveals a lot of plot points, and peopel that read it learn more about the movie - and it somewhat deminishes the movie.

This pic won't diminish my enjoyment of seeing it unveiled tonight. The banner itself is pretty simple. It's the reaction to it that will bring the excitement.
