He just said that on radio show that he'd be home w/ his family watching the Auburn/MSU game Thursday night. Does anyone have a problem with our head coach home by 7:00 pm on a Thursday night during the season hanging out and watching TV with his family instead of preparing for the upcoming game? You know damn good and well than other top coaches around the country are burning the midnight oil during the season, gameplanning etc. Hell, Saban recently said on the ESPN Bama special that he gets home well after 11:00 pm each night. Coaches around the country openly talk about sleeping at the office and putting in extreme hours during the season, meanwhile our coach apparently feels that there is no work left to do so might as well watch primetime tv with the family. He has also commented in the past about watching college football games at home w/ family all day on off weeks, etc.

I think that is a big problem with Miles and could be why our teams appear unprepared and he is frequently outcoached on gameday. He doesn't put in the extra time other coaches do and we wonder why we underachieve with our talent level.

Nah, not really. Would be cool if the coaching staff was at his house watching with him.

I think Les puts the game plans together over the summer where he doesn't have to miss the games during the season. He may just be a huge football fan like us and really likes to watch football when the season gets here so he works harder in the summer. It all equals out.

I bet he takes the time to eat real food at mealtime instead of little debbies.

Uh, you really think that his gameplan is going to be changed overnight the FRIDAY before the game?

Uh, if you listened to Miles' show tonight, when asked what he did on gamedays he straight up said on saturdays he will work on scripting the plays, etc., so yeah, dumbass.

I'm not gonna say that these guys don't work hard.

But in a job that has a lot to do with how you are perceived, a lot of what you hear is creating a persona. In other words, don't believe everything you read or hear.

Dude you are a moron. He said he "might" watch it at home but definitely will record it. Miles is one of the best gameplanners there is. STOP

I don't give a $hit.

Saban should stay later - he's gets paid more. Also, there ain't nothing to do in Alabama anyway, so why go home?

Given that we play both of these teams this year, wouldn't you consider watching that game to be work?

I know right...what the hell is the man doing thinking he can spend time with his family on a Thursday...?

Why all the Saban talk? What about Mullen? Dooley? Nutt?

I know Tony Dungy stressed NOT working overtime like that. Go read his book. He is a big family man, and hated having assistants and/or himself out late working. But I guess his teams were always underprepared.

You are an idiot.
