It's a shame he has to be on that team.

Which ankle? The defense needs to know, so they can place a bulleye on it.

Minnesota is now considering starting career special teamer Husain Abdullah at safety, and CB Chris Cook (knee) has been ruled out. RCB Cedric Griffin (knee) is listed as questionable.

quote:

Coach Brad Childress suggested Tuesday that Husain Abdullah will leapfrog Tyrell Johnson and Jamarca Sanford to start at strong safety in Thursday's season opener. It sounds like it could be just a one-game experiment, however. The Vikes want to take advantage of Abdullah's experience playing the slot against the Saints' four-receiver sets. The battle between Sanford and Johnson for early-down duties has still not been settled.

Is that two corners on the injured list? Are they the starters? Drew Brees might have a career day (which for him is a pretty damn good day)

they are down to 3 corners, only one regular starter. Yesterday listening to a Greenway interview he kinda let it slip that Griffin will be a while longer before playing. Most expected that but they were trying to front some smoke on it.

He's on the PUP so he doesn't need to be listed.
