Why doesn't Crowton pick on the strong safety?

Maybe it's just my LSU bias, but it seems to me like every team we play is able to expose our SS in pass defense much more than our offense is able to.
Does anyone else perceive the same?

im convinced crowton cant read a defense..he proved it against bama in 08
