Seahawks released RB Julius Jones.
The 29-year-old's release prevents Seattle from having to drop $2.45 million on a third-string tailback. We've finally got some clarity in the backfield. Justin Forsett will be the starter, rotating probably about evenly with Leon Washington (who will also return kicks and punts). The Seahawks' offense still projects to be among the league's least productive, so expectations should be limited. But Forsett is a stronger RB3 now in PPR leagues.

Is a Lynch Trade upcoming? probably not, but I'll try to keep updated

Coach Brad Childress confirmed Sunday that the Vikings have no intentions of signing free agent T.J. Houshmandzadeh at this time.
Minnesota is believed to be Houshmandzadeh's landing spot of choice, but the team isn't going to bring him in before Week 1, if they do at all. Housh needs to start seriously considering Washington. If he signed with the Skins today, he could probably enter the starting lineup before Sunday's opene

Titans waived RB LeGarrette Blount and LB Stanford Keglar.
Keglar was a special teamer, and not a grea one at that. Blount made it through Saturday unscathed, but Tennessee has elected to move forward with just two tailbacks on the final 53 -- Chris Johnson and Javon Ringer. With a great line in front of them, Ringer is a must-have handcuff for CJ2K owner

Ringer is the clear back-up to the "speed guy"

even if AP went down, I wouldn't waste the 1st waiver pick on Gerhart...8/10 team

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has named Isaac Redman his team's short-yardage back.
Bad news for Rashard Mendenhall owners. Mendenhall will still see some touches near the goal line, but you can probably safely knock a few touchdowns off of his projection. Redman is worth a late-round flier or waiver wire pick-up if you've already had your draft.

don't expect much IMO....Stl def has looked improved to me, and ARZ offense has not

but I can think of much worse options than Tower in a PPR

Knowshon Moreno acknowledged Tuesday that he has to get over a tendency to be "hesitant" with his hamstring before he's ready for game action.
"What I've got to do now is test it out and see how it holds up," Moreno said before Tuesday's practice. "I'm not going to be hesitant. I'm going to go for it." Early indications suggest Moreno will be in the lineup at Jacksonville for the opener.

please make sure you have a back-up to this dude, he ain't gonna last....going for it on a hamstring? Not usually the best way to stay healthy
