They both are no good. Let's play 2 of them: one passes, one runs.

Well, it's easy to start looking at the backup, but Lee is not a championship QB anymore than JJ is- he takes 1 step forward then 2 steps back. We have done this crap for 2 years, and in a stunning development our QB situation is the exact same that it has been for the last 2 years- it's either JJ or JL. That is not all Miles fault and it is what it is.

Well Lee needs the chance. No improvment in the status quo.

the inside story is that lee has the confidence of the players and is much improved. he made some awful mistakes early in his career, mostly due to lack of good coaching. he has great skills, and i predict he will be the starter at year's end.

With JJ's 2nd half performance, I would have liked to see LL given some few series. Based on the first half, JJ would have built some confidence, and Lee could have as well. Both opportunities were lost.

The only way Miles would think about Lee is if he saw him on a milk carton

Did we not hear about JL's improved confidence some last year??? Granted, he played well when he was forced into the Gumpabama game, but that Lousiana Tech game was a clunker and was pathetic. That is the JL that we can still expect this season. Confidence can be lost VERY quickly. One mistake by this kid and that's all she wrote for his "improved confidence in his abilities".

If it isn't the $4 million man's fault, then whose fault is it? Miles got us into this predicament by not signing and developing one single QB since February 2008.

If JJ doesn't show quicker/better decision making next week, I'm all for Lee getting the nod against Mississippi State. We can't win close games in the 4th quarter with our offense sputtering like this and our defense on the field all night long.

I think he deserves a shot. He hasn't been given any meaningful time since his RSFreshman year, when he was tossed into a tough situation. Let's see what he's got now.

Wrong, he played quite a bit against Gumpabama last year on the road in a tough situation, then played the whole game in that clunker against LT in another game that we did very well to hold on and win.

Let JJ play at Vandy then let's evaluate where we are. Last night's game reminds me so much of last year's opener at UW (yet another game we did very well to hold on and win!!!), but let's just see what JJ can do against a very poor Vandy defense before we toss him aside.

If LSU keeps running JJ and that stupid option, Lee will get his chance very soon.
