Nice restaurant in Birmingham

We are on our way back to Baton Rouge from the game and wondering what would be a nice restaurant. Somethinng more thann burgers.

Lots of choices. Try The Summit (shopping area) at the northwest corner of I-459 and US 280. Village Tavern, Flip Burger, Chuy's.
ETA: you did say more than burgers, but Flip is supposed to be the latest "it" upscale burger place.

You'll be coming back on I20 which doesn't give you many options. I would concur w/ the poster above...exit onto I459 South and take that to Hwy 280. Go to one of the restaurants at the Summit. (Village Tavern, Panera Bread, Cheesecake Bistro, P.F. Changs, Zoe's Kitchen, etc) Also on 280 right around there is a Carrabas, Shogun, Surin West, etc.
I highly recommend Surin.
ETA: The is also a Tilted Kit if you want a sluttier version of Hooters.
