Why did we have so many reserves in the 3rd Qtr?
You basically send a message to the team, that the game is over, we are putting in the second team. We should have scored at least one more TD before we starting playing the reserves. In college football where the clock stops after each 1st, there was a ton of time left. You need to finish the team off before clearing the bench, we basically went into conservative offense and reserves on D.

Big Ten gamesmanship rules must require it. Somebody please notify this head coach that LSU is in the SEC.

Exact thing I was thinking last night. Pad your lead in the 3rd and then sub guys in during the 4th not the start of the 3rd! Rediculous in my opinion

TOO SOON.

Game probably woulda ended the way it should had we played for 60 minutes for at least 40 minutes.

44-10 and then take start with the substitutes, the 'you cant see mes' and the relaxing.

obviously les kicked it into cruise control

after all, barely hanging on to the win is just as good as thoroughly dominating for 4 quarters, right? right? right?

one of the downsides to not playing a cupcake to open the season...but with so many key spots being played by FR and RS FR, they have to find out who is ready and who isn't...and you can't do that in practice. This wasn't a "we've got this one wrapped up so let's put in the scrubs" scenario.

If the young talent grows up quickly, the D could be real good. But freshman mistakes are going to happen...
