I liked a place called Rotier's, near Vandy...
They served their burgers on these really cool buns - plus the shakes are served in the steel containers, which I dug.
Wish I could remember the name of the bar, but I had a salmon blt that was just awesome.

I was in Nashville last week and one of the locals took us to a steakhouse called Jimmy Kelly's. I was impressed - it was very good and a nice change from the typical Ruth's Chris, Flemings, etc...
Also, there's a Five Guys on West End across the street from Vandy. It didn't quite live up to the hype but it was still very good. The fries are incredible.
