If that's true then she's borderline retarded. Anyone who takes school smack/rivalry that seriously once they're out of college and into the working world is destined for mediocrity.

She claims Arkansas called the station and said she would no longer be allowed to cover the team. Station said they hired her for that so if that wasn't an option she wasn't needed. I don't think the University knew about her twitter account.

I agree. If I were a journalist or in a postion where the general public were privy to my every word, it would never cross my mind to promote FSU or UA, directly or indirectly. My livelihood is more important than my allegiances.

Have you guys watched this chick's interview? She's so passive aggressive the whole time, apologizing but kind of undermining her apology with little snippets of why she secretly thinks it's no big deal "I'm sorry that because of the weather I decided to wear the hat", etc. etc. Her Twitter message was annoying as well. "I wanted to apologize but won't get the chance. I've been fired." That's right, you dumb cow.

I have now watched two. She is an idiot to try to diminish what she did, considering the the state she was working. If a UGA graduate were to do that at a UF press conference, the outcome would have been the same. I may be wrong though, UGA girls are typically better looking and would have gotten a pass.
