Does RS have the skill set to play QB in the SEC?
We are staring down the throat of starting a red shirt freshman at QB in 2012.
Is Sheppard the answer to our problem?

some will say he can't throw, I will say he throws a better deep ball than Jefferson can

Not gonna happen. Our coach said that RS would stay at WR.

I bet it will be looked at...more seriously now than before. If there is an injury...bank on it.

I don't play video games. the fact of the matter is that Jefferson has absolutely no touch on any ball beyond 15 yards, which is why it is so easy to defend against us

Well it did seem stupid a few days ago when we had CG and ZL. But now both are gone! We are so loaded at reciever that it actually might be a good idea but obviously not yet. Still have to wait and see what happens who we get next via signing/junior college/transfers.

Like it or not this could be the best answer for LSU in 2012.

Why would you convert a linebacker to quarterback

CLM said Shepard doesn't really want to play QB.

Some question just don't need to be answered.

the tape doesn't lie, go watch some film on both of them throwing deep balls and you will see what I am talking about

So, you must be looking at strictly high school tapes...since RS hasn't throw a pass in college. And I have already seen high school tapes of both, thanks.

then you should know what I am talking about then. do you really think JJ throws a good deep ball? or do you just think RS's is worse?

And again, that's based off high school tapes. We have no frame of reference to see how RS would throw with SEC linemen/LBers/safeties bearing down on him. Quite frankly, I think he'd do something to make them miss...then take off running. And I'm OK with that. But I do not think he would throw a better long ball than JJ.
