Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt revealed that 2009 fifth-round pick Herman Johnson showed up to camp overweight.
"My expectations are that he lose weight," said Whiz. "If he does that, he has a chance. If he doesn’t, he’s going to have a hard time playing for us."

This will do nothing to cure the impression that recent LSU draft picks are "lazy."

Biggest baby born in La.

At birth, Johnson weighed 15 pounds and 14 ounces, making him the largest baby ever born in the state of Louisiana

But look on the east coast and see how the Panthers love Brandon Lafell. And he didn't have a position coach worth a damn for the past two years. You just never know how these picks are gonna turn out. But i would definitely know just by lookin at Herm that he was gonna deal with weight issues.

You do realize stats like these are ridiculous right? It's not like all birth weights are documented. In fact, tons aren't every day.

Probably because there aren't many babies that weigh tons when they are born.
