LSU #6...so take it for what it's worth. I can't really fault him at this point but I can't figure out why Auburn is ahead of us.

I would have said 5. I think we're equal to UGA!

Wow, dont get the love for Georgia or Auburn. Georgia is way too high. We should prob be 4th behind Bama, Arky, and Fla.

I honestly cannot think of a single logical reason why Auburn is being ranked ahead of us. They had a terrible defense last year, they still have huge concerns with depth, they lost their best offensive player by a mile, their offense was not nearly as effective in the second half of the season, and they are coming off a 3-5 campaign. I simply do not understand Auburn's inflated reputation right now.

While Arkansas and LSU are not expected to win the division, I wouldn't be shocked if they did. They just need some pieces to fall into place. I really can't imagine a scenario in which Auburn wins the title this year, barring a miracle. I can see them pulling off an upset or two, but I don't view them as a legit contender in the division. Auburn is the most overrated team in this preseason. I don't get it. They have a great PR office, apparently.

Right now I'd have it:

1. Florida (bring on the flames)
2. Bama
3. LSU
4. South Carolina
5. Auburn
6. UGA

Georgia returns a lot of talent on offense. Their entire OL, all their RBs, all their WR's. If they get even half decent QB play, they could win the whole SEC if........

They had a defense. Which they may or may not get in year one with Grantham.

Only time will tell.

UGA's season could vary wildly from 8-5 to 11-1.

1. Alabama
2. Florida

Then I get torn

3-7 in no particular order:

South Carolina, LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, and Georgia

Georgia at #3 is ridiculous.

I think we're better than Auburn. I can see arguments for why Arkansas and UGA would be better than us, but Chris Low said in the article that there isn't much separating 3 from 8. I think there's a lot of parity this year in the SEC and we may not have a single dominant team that carries the conference to a national championship.

UGA has as RS fresh qb who doesn't have to do much because they have so much talent so they're #3

we have a jr qb who needs to prove himself so we're #6 without as much talent as UGA apparently.

way to make sense fatass

I would take Aaron Murray, UGA's redshirt QB, over JJ any day.

Other than the QB, what makes Arkansas so damn special? Auburn has one great recruiting class and they the 2nd coming of Alabama. Makes no sense.

The only WR group in the country that can compete with LSU's along with one of the top offensive minds in the nation.
