I can't remember which game exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was Tennessee. I wanna say when we played them in the '07 SECCG it happened, and perhaps again some other time. Where the Tenn dline prior to snap was just generally going nuts jumping all around, shifting all over the place, creating confusion and getting all jacked up. Does anyone else recall this, and perhaps have a link to a video? I did some quick searches but couldn't find anything.

Was this a Chavis thing? And is this a type of gimmick we should expect to see here at some point?

Would you be opposed to seeing it happen? I think seeing some fire in the D would be nice, but wouldn't want it to make us lose focus.

LSU @ TENN 2006. We had a number of false starts that game, and I remember the announcer saying that we should have been prepared for it because they had been doing that for years.

it was referred to as the "Shadow" defense.

It is really only effective in 3rd and long.....on a running play, it should get blown to hell by virtue of the lineman standing up.

I rememeber Ole Miss doing it to us in Tiger Stadium with O as the coach, he outcoached Miles that day, but we had that last second TD to Bowe in the back of the endzone
