Does anyone know if this is going to be televised? Or at least some way to watch this on the internet?

Abilene will prob have an online feed. Terrence Magee will be starting QB so LSU fans should see him play against a few future D1 players instead of the usual Washington parish garbage.

They looked pretty good in the Dome against future D1 talent

Huh? Did you watch the same game I did? Neville dominated that game from start to finish.

Franklinton was coming back in the second half until Magee re injured his leg. No excuses, Neville was the better team that day but Franklinton was very good last year with a Jr. laden team. This year they are one of the top 2 or 3 teams in the state without question IMO. I think they actually have a shot at Abilene.

I think the biggest reason Neville won was they completely took Franklinton's crowd out of the game. You could tell they wanted to get LOUD, but Neville's fast start kept them quiet.

Neville's lines is the real reason. First team all year that Franklinton couldn't deal with it enough to let the skill guys blow it wide open. That is my concern with Abilene. I'm guessing a school that size that is that good in Texas will have great great line play.

Franklinton had one maybe 2 drives the whole game. They scored on the screen where the little receiver broke a few tackles and took it to the house and then after a muffed punt inside the 20. Neville dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides. Magee got hurt because he was running for his life. Neville had 1 D1 player on that defense, Demarcus Hodge. The other DT signed with D2 Southeast Oklahoma and the LB, Waderrious Sellers, signed with Northwestern St. Neville also missed 4 FG's and only punted twice.

Franklinton lost over half their Defense from last year, their top receiver, and a few lineman.

I hope Franklinton makes it a game against Abilene but I think they'll have a hard time staying within 2 TD's. Abilene plays a game the week before Franklinton, where as it will be Franklinton's first game. That road trip is gonna be a bitch too.

Abilene lost most of their lines from last year but they have 3 times the enrollment of Franklinton. They will probably be like West Monroe and just reload in that area. Magee and Robinson have the speed to play with anybody but they need space to operate.

They barely lost any starters. Franklinton will be much better then they were last season. Win or lose vs Abilene, Franklinton is the favorite in 4a this season IMO.

Abilene's QB is a little dude but he's insanely fast and quick. He's a smaller Paul Turner. Their RB gets all the pub, but their QB can play.

Franklinton was a young team last year and they didnt loose their entire defense. Thanks for the facts.

They lost 2 D-lineman, both middle LB's, and at least 2 DB's. That's 6 right there. I would say that's over half their defense.

DL-94
DL-49
LB-05
LB-30
LB/DB-20
DB-29
DB-11

None of these guys are on the roster anymore. They were all sr's last year and were starters or major contributors.

They didn't lose much that is going to hurt them man. They lose a great LB and one of 3 Wide Receivers. One of the ones coming back is being recruited my Miss. St. We are starting the season #54 Nationally and #3 in the state according to Max Preps. Franklinton will be very good this year..... I just don't know about Abilene Tx good.

this game could get ugly for franklinton. now they beat us by 50 in the playoffs but texas football is a whole other ball game. I hope franklinton can go surprise them though, it would be good for LA high school football

Whether or not it hurts them remains to be seen. They'll be good because of the offense and not really playing anybody outside of Abilene and Salmen. They will enter the playoffs at 8-2 at worst but more than likely 9-1. Briggs is being recruited because he's 6'5". He wasn't very productive last year at all. 5'6" Vincent Wilson is a better football player and way more productive. So was LeSean Williams. FWIW, Lutcher was #22 last year. Doesn't really mean much. Franklinton will probably go wire to wire as #1 in 4A and blow out everybody again until the playoffs. McDonough35 and Northside will be contenders as well

I am from Franklinton. They are better then last year...... you will just have to trust me. lol. They won't lose a game outside of Abilene in the reg season, and they have a shot in that one.
