Honest Opinions !! Where is this LSU Football Program as of now

Are we still to young on the defensive side, also the indecisive QB problems. There's a lot of rants about many things, HOW FAR AWAY ARE WE ??? Thanks for you rant.

The following must happen in order for LSU to be a legitimate contender in the SEC West, overall and national title pictures (minimum time it will take to do each in parentheses):
1. Must find and hire a good head coach (2 years)
2. Must find and hire a good offensive coordinator (2 years)
3. Must find, recruit and develop a QB (3 years)
4. Must find, recruit and develop an entire offensive line (4 years)
5. Must find, recruit and develop an entire defensive line (3 years)
#1 and #2 must happen first, but can happen at the same time as each other, so that's 2 years. Once #1 and #2 have happened, the others can begin simultaneously, so add 4 more years to finish all of them. So, I'd say LSU is 6 years away from being a legitimate contender for SEC West, overall and national championships.

Really, it isn't that bad. LSU has a great QB, even though folks love to hate him. Compare his numbers to Bama's QB last year (who was a redshirt junior).
The line certainly needs work, and a new offensive strategy might help.

Numbers are bullshite. The only numbers that matter are the number of wins. Jordan Jefferson is not a great QB, and will never be. Its not in his DNA
