the obvious answer is Aaron Brooks. It seems every Saints fan seems to hate the man, but when you look at his stats and the fact he brought the franchise it's first playoff win(almost 300 yards passing and 4 TDs and was also the teams leading rusher in the game).
Only person in history to have 400 yards passing and 100 yards rushing in the same season and he did it in his first season as a starter and on back to back weeks.
He really should be in the Saints HOF. So what if he smiled a lot and was nowhere near the leader this franchise needed...he did something only 1 other QB in New Orleans has done.

Vaughn Johnson - he was a beast but was overshadowed because the other 3 were hall of fame quality.
