What happened? Did the air conditioner for their mascot's doghouse that they raised funds for last year go out?

must be James's son?

Tech is trying to keep up with the other schools at their level.
North Texas is building a new football stadium right now.

Just like with BCS conferance teams you have to keep up.

Can't see how they can justify spending a ton of money when the state is worried about keeping them open. Maybe this is all part of the consolidation plan they will inact when they shut down Northeast, Grambling and Northwestern.

To my knowledge, most of the funds are private donations. The remainder of the cost will be bonded.

say what now? The state isn't worried about keeping Tech open. Tech is in the process of building a big research campus and announced today that they'll be building a new $12MM business building starting before Christmas. Plus this project is a $20MM based only on contributions from private donors and theres $10MM raised before the project went public

What a joke...NT can't fill a soup can, much less a new stadium.

Good for Tech, I'm glad that they are working hard to improve their standing.

Take off the purple and gold blinders man. At least tech is bettering themselves. BTW, this is private money, so I think its great they are able to raise the doe for it.

Wouldn't it be easier to just have James Davison and Terry Bradshaw donate all the money?

So they put field turf in and do all the work in the one endzone? The rest of the stadium is not much differrent or better than Grambling's. You think that maybe Tech's facilities might be on par with West Monroe High School now?

I am a LSU fan. ULM knows their place in Louisiana and NCAA football...cant say that about La Tech.

The lower level of 1-A...basically 1-AA. Tech is no better, yet they think they are...so is ULL. They all have 1-AA facilities and are money games for the big boys like LSU.
