how do you get moving that fast on that stretch of carrollton?
you have about 6 blocks without a light, if you get green at Bienville, about 8, have to gun it pretty good IMO

If it was a one car accident then he wasn't blindsided.

Last year with D. Byrd, it was a blown tire, correct? I can't imagine what would do that to a car, especially in a one vehicle situation.

Thoughts and prayers with Chad, Rahim, and the rest of the family.

Hopefully his physical fitness helps him get well soon (it may have helped him live through it in the first place).

he was alert when paramedics took him to the emergency room.

that, at the very least, is encouraging.

Trust me, if anyone has driven on Carrollton and those other streets, they can tell you they're in very bad shape. Blown tire is very possible given those street conditions

damnit. hoping he comes out all right, although he probably has some serious injuries based on the car. being alert when paramedics got to him is great at least

The word from the family is that he fell asleep at the wheel. He came in yesterday on a flight from new york, so that seems plausible.
