Braves or Astros

I see both threads tonight and other times but my quesiton is for LSU fans...who do you cheer for? I know the Astros are closer but with what TBS did for the Braves for so many years, they have fans nationwide.

Astros of course. I don't become a fan of a team just because the team is on tv all the time. If that were the case, I'd rock a Cubs jersey with a Yankees hat, wear some red socks and carry a tomahawk.

The Cubs and Braves are 1 and 1A on my hate list, probably for the same reason you mention people have for liking them.

braves and it wasn't bc of tv.. always been a fan of the south east.. and they are the team of the southeast.. the astros are too texas for my liking.. plus i always liked the braves players and personalities.

I also agree that there is nothing wrong with it, unless you are obviously close to a different team in where you live, or possibly have a team within the same state.

No, people can be fans for whatever reasons they want. The hate for those two for me comes from them being on TV so much when I was a kid. I was always an Astros fan and most of my friends were Cubs and Braves fans. There were countless Summer time arguments and it usually ended with me saying "Just shut up, you don't even know anything about the cubs except they come on channel 18 at 1:30 every day".

Was a Houston Astros fan, and will always be a Houston Astros fan until the day I die. Atlanta Braves are my second favorite team.

Braves. I don't like them because they were on TV all the time. They were on TV all of the time because I liked them.

I am willing to bet the reason you do pull for the Lastros is because at a young age you had access to following the team. You watched a few games, you liked a lot about the team, so you became a fan.
