Texas' academic argument

My understanding is that the SEC is pretty much on par with the Big 12 academically, so I guess that Texas' academic argument for not coming to the SEC is total BS.

yes, it is total bullshite- but i believe big12 has quite a few more aau institutions than our 2(vandy, fu)

We have a larger endowment and spend more money on research. It's a wash.

if it was about academics they wouldn't have asked 3 of the 4 worst academic schools from teh big 12 to join them in the pac

and they'd be talking about academics as a primary consideration for future big 12 invites

You might want to check that; the SEC isn't close.

TX endowment by itself is $12.1B and A&M has $5B. Vandy's is $2.8BFL and FL has $1B...the rest are below that.
