ETA: Just checked order status on UPS.com, and my Elite Training Jersey should be here soon. I went with the training jersey because I like it more than the regular kit.

Those kids in the Ivory Coast are training on a crap field with no shoes on. with the quality of fields in America, especially at the highest levels, I think this should be used as a training tactic. Playing barefoot develops your touch better. I'm not saying do the whole session barefoot, just dribbling and certain passing drills.
