Direct TV or Dish Network??
Posted by Louisiana Leftovers on 6/5/10 at 2:58 pm00
I'm Currently leaning towards the Dish, but I wanted to know what the Droppings had to say about it for those that have either DTV or Dish?

But DTV still doesn't have CST does it?

I too need to make a decision soon. I've heard dish is the way to go, but as a 49ers fan its hard to pass up the sunday ticket
Forget the Sunday ticket. Dish has NFL Redzone, which is awesome. Might cost you $5 a month during the season.

Nope. Of course CST is only available in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans Markets on Dish, unless of course you can convince them you are taking a trip to one of those areas and have them give you the local channels there for the weekend while you stay at home and watch the LSU games.

They do not have CST that's only negative but the advantages are too many to list, in the end yuo are better with direct and having to miss the Plaquemines v. Walker football game and the occasional LSU baseball game.

The only negative to Direct tv is no CST. I'm happy with everything else from them and I won't be changing anytime soon.
Of course, he thinks Jimmy Fallon is funny, so take what he says with a grain of salt.

DTV period! No sports with Dish and terrible service to boot.
