This Ford love is totally amazing. The guy had a good spring game! Stevans numbers were just as good in the spring game. If anyone thinks that Ford is going to be able to do that lateral running after bouncing outside they are fricking crazy.
Ive said it before, Ridley will be the man this year. Top 3 back in the SEC. It will be very questionable if Ford even sees the field this year for numerous reasons. Stevan did an amazing job last year behind a terrible offensive line, very predictable play calling and with a QB who has no idea how to run the inside read option which Crowten calls about 50% of the time.
Mark these words.

^^^ our play calling was too predictable. during Championship runs we had all types of different formations, we even pulled the "pistol" out every now and then. now its "run formation" or "4 or 5 wideout" and when we have those wideout sets everybody and they mama know what time it is. And JJ still checks down in that formation.

I was into the second page before I realized the dates. I'm thinking.... Ford has 2 carries, why would he get more yards than Ridley who has many more carries already?
Funny how Blue isn't mentioned at all and he is the #2 or 3 back now.

I don't know how people on here can say anything about Ford, the man hasn't seen the damn field because of Miles and what not, I just get really frustrated when they don't use or play talent like that, why frickin bother to recruit them?

you don't even know if Ford will be here next year or the next, the man may say frick this and go somewhere else where he can actually get PT, and not play in some BS system where you get the most carries because of seniority!

These players aren't as dumb as you. They understand that there are just as good if not better players in front of them so they either have to beat them out or wait their turn.

Actually...i haven't seen a Ford thread in a couple of weeks. Not since Ridley started averaging nearly 6 yards/carry. I guess they wised up. Why don't you start a Ford thread and see what kind of responses you get? You may be surprised.

First...get your facts right. These so-called "reports" are from one guy with a huge agenda against LSU and he never backed it up.
Second...the supposed frustration from said "reports" were about the QB situation....had nothing to do with playing time.
So next time, instead of pulling shite out of thin air, read a little first. But honestly...it doesn't matter. Ford could start tomorrow and you would just find something else to bitch about. It's what you do.
