yea we played arky 5 times and brought the wood to them 4 times

im say we have never done that. also if we win 2mrw it breaks the 0 for 6 in major sports vs the runts this year.

Pretty sure we played Florida twice in Omaha anyway. SECT would have been 6

I think we played Bama 6 times in 1997. They beat us twice in the regular season, but we won on Sunday to clinch the SEC title. We beat them the first time in the SEC tourny, but then they won the SEC Championship title. Of course, we ended the year beating them for the 1997 National Championship.

1996, UF may have won 4 games in a row vs LSU until we finally beat them in the Omaha winner's bracket. Maybe we beat them twice in Omaha?

We played South Carolina 6 times in 2002.

We went 2-4.

And the last game was late at night in the SEC tournament on Saturday. It was the game where LSU trailed most of the way, and we thought we tied it in the 9th on a fielder's choice. But Wally Pontiff was called out for interference at 2nd. So they put the runner back on 3rd and we lost 5-4.

It's really sad now because that was in one of his last games.

Oh and Ole Miss 5 times in 2001, going 4-1. (But they beat us 23-10 and Theriot pitched for us.)

And 5 times against Alabama in 2000, going 4-1.

I actually had to look these last two up.

Stuff starts blurring together after about 2003.

But I did remember Theriot pitching in that game Ole Miss blew us out. Then Mestepey came in on Sunday and shut them down. And Matt Heath almost started a brawl. But what's new?
