I wonder if the part about the full scholly is accurate. If so I wonder if that was offered to any of the other studs in this class.

not necessarily

there was a post on here from someone who talked to a boras rep and he said in most cases they actually encourage the players to go to college

a boras rep advises/advised ryan eades also

that would be pretty shocking

id have to actually see it happen before i believe...interesting though

Boras means he is serious about signing, but only if the price is right. And the right price with Boras involved is going to be well over whatever slot he is drafted in. Several teams haven't even looked at him in depth this Spring due to what they think is going to be a high price tag.

For these type of kids, our only hope is that the asking price is too high and MLB team pass on them. So, being represented by Boras actually helps us.

He wants to play college baseball really bad from what I heard. So I'm guessing he is going to have to get a big signing bonus to go to the pro's.

Absolutely right. Teams are scared of Boras because he always drives the price way up. Hopefully that means he ends up in college. I'm not getting my hopes up though
