Mainieri hates ranters

Sorenson: Since you had built the program back up to last year's national title, you haven't had adversity like this stretch now. Is there anything different about how people are treating you there?
Mainieri: As far as how they're treating me here in Baton Rouge, it's been nothing but kindness. You know, I don't go on those chat sites where people hide behind anonymous names and say nasty things. I don't think that's reflective of the way people generally speak. I can tell you that over these last couple of weeks I've received many supportive phone calls, e-mails and text messages.

I have no problem with Mainieri avoiding this place because he is a good coach. I just wish Les Miles would stop by more often and get some coaching tips.

As if anyone here could help either coach!
The wantabees do crack me up with their highly thought of coaching skills. All are a legend in their own minds and clueless bafoons in reality.

I'll bet you that 99% of people who post on this board A) know how to signal for a time out, and B) knew that we needed to call time out after Ridley got tackled on third down against Ole Miss.
Maybe no one here can coach better overall than he does, but he could DEFINITELY get some tips from the people on this board, which is all the post you responded to claimed.

When was LSU ever a baseball school before a football school? I've been around close to 50 years and don't remember that.
