the feed me is the best thing they offer. Agree with 3putt - it is good, not great.

They bring you an seemingly endless amount of courses. Also, the veal chop has always been very good.

This "feed me" idea seems like it could be in my wheelhouse.

Tony Angello's has a reputation - and it ain't the food.

It's basically the only place in the city where you'll be waiting for an hour, even though you have a reservation.

I have had nights where the feed me was superb...I have also had nights when it was blah...

Overall, its a good place with a huge cult following.

Don't expect your "reservations" to be honored at the exact time you make them, unless you are buddy-buddy with Dale.

The lobster cup, marinated mushroom salad and fried buster crab are the high points IMO. Spicy crawfish pasta is good too.

Your experiences mirror mine. There have been occasions when the meal was worth much more than the costs. Unfortunately, there have been times when I have been disappointed as well. And those times have all been post-Katrina.

Very good Italian resteraunt.... The Eggplant Tina, and the appitizer mushrooms are the best things on the menu. The service is good exept the arse matradi(or however you spell it)... Definatly a must go to if you want Italian in New Orleans.
