I'm headed to Grand Isle after lunch and I joked with my Dad that it would be my last trip for a few years. Not so funny now.

How does the size of the spill shrink if more oil is being spilled everyday?

How the oil spill hasn't hit Venice yet is remarkable. If the wind would have been out of the SE for any period of time the whole LA coast from Venice to Lake Borne would be inundated.

I'm supposed to be hitting Grand Isle tomorrow so I can get in a day of fishing....hell even if it is just for one day, I'm going! This just sucks though...

Heading to Gi myself. More to clean up the camp and get drunk at Big Daddys. I think GI is pretty safe if this box they are lowering works. Anyone else that is going to GI going to Big daddys this weekend.

I'm supposed to go fishing in Venice on the 16th. Should I cancel the trip?

the river is ridiculously high so the river and the big bayous are flowing out into the gulf with a lot of arse behind it
