This website has a wide variety of oilfield (both new and old, as well as former) employees, from sling chasers, drillers, engineers and even MMS reps. This is where I go for the most accurate up to day info.

In my defense, I don't know that I even knew what your profession was. And...and..I drank a lot yesterday while cooking drunken chicken for nearly 3 hours, and then burning it to a crisp for approximately 2 minutes while I went piss.
My still hung over head, and bruised man-ego, was just spurting off random professions in oilfield.
