I've been once. Will never go back. Didn't care for it.

The crawfish fest died 20 years ago when they moved it to the park.

When it was downtown it was the best festival in the state.

As it is now, its OK, something to do.

Steve Riley is always a good time.

Saw reports of mid to upper 80s on a couple of channels.

I've never been...but we're vending a food booth this year, so hopefully it's a good crowd, and great weather.

BBQ I assume ?

I may be there, after being forced to ride in the parade.

Nope...no BBQ unfortunately, which we're pretty bummed about. We submitted three items to make and only 2 got accepted...and the BBQ pulled pork wasn't accepted. I'm not sure why since no other vendor is doing BBQ. We'll be selling boudin beignets and also crawfish nachos.

I went last year. And plan on being there this weekend. Not too bad as festivals go.

You are right about there not being a lick of BBQ there Nik. Don't know what that's all about. Trying to stick to a certain theme?

I may go check it out. If anyone else is bored this weekend, this is a fun time for a great cause.

I guess so. I know they want to have mostly crawfish items, but having 1 booth with BBQ would make a great addition IMHO.
