Everyone has the right to their own opinions, but I would tend to think people would trust the decisions this Staff and Front Office makes. The one that brought NO a Super Bowl many thought would never happen. None of the positions seem like a reach, and people might not the individual over another, but we are couch GM's for a reason. This Saints management has a ability to find true talent in the draft at good spots (Colston, Porter, etc.) I trust this group. It might not always look pretty on paper, but it doesn't have to. Who would of ever thought the best RB on our team wouldn't be the #2 pick overall, but an undrafted FA?

I like reading all the hype we put into this player or that one for weeks on end and then the Saints select someone never even considered. The board explodes for about three hours and then posters start saying "ya know I can see now why they made the pick". We're not privy to all the information the coaching staff has (player interviews, trades, pro day evaluations, etc..). Payton and Loomis pretty much make solid reads on personnel. Kind of like playing chess, you don't understand why a move was made until later in the game.
