He has us selecting with the 32. New Orleans
Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers.

Now i have seen some crazy picks but i think we are going LB. We are pretty set at CB i think Peter with Greer,Porter, and Jenkins.

frick he just have gotten lazy.

I mean with the injury situation last year and maybe moving Jenkins to FS, it wouldn't surprise me if we drafted a CB but not until much later in the draft.

Look at the draft, Hughes is on the board still. DT's like Cody and Price are still on the board. Plenty of guys that probably grade out higher and fill a position of need better than McCourty

That pick is actually awesome dude. This would assume Malcom Jenkins switching to Free Safety. How bad was our D when Porter and/or Greer went down?

This is pretty amazing really. You could argue that DT, DE, OLB, OL, and S are more pressing needs. Hell RB and TE are probably on par with Corner as far as need goes.

Hell I think you could make the argument that RB and TE are bigger needs than CB

Well, one thing is for sure, this regime selects the remaining player that is currently ranked the highest on their board regardless of position. We may not agree. We may not like it, but that's their philosophy. Now, does DM fall into this category. I haven't a fleur de lis clue. Just don't rule out a player that hasn't been discussed at nauseum.

Not about needs, about BPA on board at a broad range of positions... CB will be on that list and McCourty is a heck of a talent and player.

I think it will be BPA minus the QB, T, G, and CB positions. I just don't see us drafting any of those positions in the first round, even if they are the BPA.

Dude, we need a 3rd corner and moving Jenkins to FS now may be the best option at FS as well.

I do recall Jenkins being ranked higher than Wells last season leading into draft. There may have been a few people putting them around the same ranking, but I believe for the most part Jenkins was rated higher.

Beanie dropping all the way to 31st and we had the 14th pick of the draft is enough to put that to rest.

Loomis has been acting like he doesn't really expect us to get Sharper back. If we are moving Jenkins to safety, then drafting a CB isn't such a bad move, though I'd prefer to wait a couple of rounds.

Anyone remember that we signed Chris McAllister and Mike McKenzie off the street last year because of injuries? Do you remember what Torrance looked like in coverage?

We could definitely use a quality corner.
