Does a 7-5 regular season get Miles fired??

With a tough schedule, the uncertainty of our QB play,no depth on DL,and the ??? marks of our offensive play calling,,, a 7-5 season is likely. Would they give him one more year?

Unfortunately not...IMO,Miles has 2011 in his back pocket regardless due to his ridiculous buyout...but another sub par field performance/record in 2011 and the buyout won't matter.2011 will be it.

I don't know how many times I've got to answer this, but here goes, again:
No. There's no way in hell Miles is fired for having a WINNING record. You can be as delusional as you want, but the reality is that won't happen. Read it, understand it, live with it.

Miles is not getting paid 4 mil a year to just have a winning record. I am not saying 7-5 this year gets him fired but it would not suprise me one bit.

If he go's 10-2 does he get an extention?
if a frog had wings.
these kind of post are as thoughtful as watching paint dry.

I just don't see 7-5 saving him. 8-4 maybe. But if he goes 7-5 and loses to Ole Miss and Bama again, I think he's done. I don't think the buyout is as big an issue as some people think it is.

I highly doubt we go 7-5 or worse.

2011 is the make/break year for Miles. Bottomline, in 2011....it will have been 4 complete Failure years getting to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game. An entire recruiting class that only knows Chick-Fil-A games in the Ga Dome.

LSU will not fire a coach that has never had a losing record at LSU. Just won't happen. Far more likely that Miles takes a job elsewhere.

His next extenstion would be if he were to win another SEC Championship.

ok IDK how you can say that

What if we go to a BCS bowl over the next two years as an at large and finish 2nd in the division and in the top 4 of the conference both years(definitely if we were barely beat out of division titles)? Would we really fire a coach after that considering his overall accomplishments at the school?

We went to the Capital One Bowl last season. Probably the top non-BCS bowl.
