He was the big one that got away and according to the rantards marked the end of LSU's La. recruiting dominance.

In otherwords, he was a big cloud in the falling sky.

turns out he was just a puff of smoke!

Might have been a different story if he came here. The USC culture has ruined many a talent.

So he's going to be a vastly overrated player who is too small to be a fulltime NFL back and will never live up to the hype?

Well, I hope he goes on to be a great sportscaster, since that is the reason why he went to USC.

Of course, he's going to have to be a bit more articulate in order to do that.

You are out of your f'ing mind! He was THE big catch that year and we lost him. It is and was a big deal and he was a stud and will be in the league for years. NO DOUBT he would have been the featured back here.

And he'll have to get really good with a teleprompter because you know he would fumble the hell out of written notes.

Ehhhhh, not so sure about that. JC guys are always overrated (save for Chris Jackson) and he probably would have been nothing more than another Shyron Carey IMO. Chuck Scott would have still been the go to guy.

I think C. Scott will end up being a better NFL RB than McKnight will be.

I still don't think so. Porter was still in charge of the RB rotation and it would have likely have been CS starting with KW and McKnight splitting time. I actually think McKnight may have eventually been moved to WR or something kind of like RS. IMO
