I don't post here alot but we all, as LSU fans, need to calm down and get a grip. Some more than others. I can't believe after one SPRING game some of you are ready to throw JJ under the bus. I could see if this was the fall yes there would cause for concern but it's the SPRING. The Spring Game was a little under 3 months after the Cap One Bowl. 3 MONTHS!!!!! Do you really think 3 months is enough time for our QB to turn from shite to sugar? I say NO!!!! So take it easy we will be fine come Sept.

I think most would agree its not just a spring game. Its an entire season as the starter and then the same trends in the subsequent spring game.

Amazingly, in the 3 months from the Cap One game till the Spring game, he looks to have gotten worse.

oh boy. here we go again. why do people think that the criticism of Jefferson is based on the damn spring game. Its based on last seasons offense being garbage, and him being the leader of it. And yes i would have like to have seen some improvement in the spring game. I understand his progress would not be a finished product in spring but i saw NO improvement at all.

Lee will end up starting at some point during the season, and it won't be due to Jefferson getting hurt.

It's not one spring game. It's one spring game (really two) plus a season plus a few games the previous season. A spring game doesn't mean that much, I agree, but when it confirms what we already think or know about a player, it is just another indication that things haven't changed. And if you and the others who still think he's good are honest, you must admit that if he had played lights out in the spring game, you'd be crowing about it and saying our QB problems are solved.

Sorry but i'm a realist and when I see a bad product I will call it out all day until something is done about it. Too many people live in a fantasy world where they think stuff is just going to happen. Must be nice to think like that.

My concern is the same as the rest of yours. It was not just a "spring game"
JJ has now had 2 springs, an offseason and a season as a starter to show improvement.
He has not shown any improvement. At this point his passes and command of the offense should be crisp, ESPECIALLY in a spring game where there should be little pressure.
The "its a spring game" excuse doesn't work, because it should be easier to execute an offense in a no pressure situation.
