I haven't tried it, but if it's worth a crap as a boil seasoning, it should make a great contraceptive.

No one wants to do the mushies when it feels like your grumbles have been maced and tased dry.

Cant recall why.. This isnt the stuff people sprinkle over the crawfish in an ice chest is it?

I owuld check to see if it has MSG in it and celery salt. Some of those seasonings I have tried that they do the sprinkle on top method use a lot of it and many people dont care for.

Im just referring to the ingredients..

If the Magic stuff is what Im thinking of then it contains a huge amount of celery salt that adds a different flavor to the crawfish. If the boil stuff is simular its just something to be aware of. If it doesnt contain celery salt at all or is not a major ingredient its probably fine.

It's pretty good, I used it as my go to boil for about a year. I went back to Louisiana after a while though, I just think they're ratios are damn near perfect for me.

no one should ever SPRINKLE anything on top of crawfish. The people who do that don't know how to season or yankees.

It's a good seasoning / Your actually put half in the pot for boil and sprinkle the other half on after, the flavor is damn good. I don't get the hate for dust after, if you let it sit 20 min. theres no grit or anything...
I'm as coonass as they come and more people are dusting around here.

IMHO, its the best seaoning on the market. Tried it a couple of years ago for a crawfish boil. We had two pots of crawfish going. One with Swamp Dust, the other with I think Louisiana Crawfish Seasoning(or something like that). Hands down, everyone, including myself liked the dads with Swamp Dust better

I LIGHTLY dust my dads with Swamp Dust. Let them steam in an ice chest for 5 minutes. Never have any on my hands either. Tastes great. Oh, and i'm no yankee, and I DO know who to season food. To each his own
