I'd rather see him there than Didier...and his hitting can't be any worse than Didier's either....just saying, not cracking on player intentionaly....

one for three, one RBI,ONE SF. Two nice plays at third. I say give him a chance. Also one of his outs was a shot caught at the wall.

Let's just give Dozar a chance. He may be what we
are missing in the lineup!!

Feel like he belongs in the lineup, but not sure he's got the glove work for the corner. Liked the experiment last week with Dozar at 2nd and Hanover at 3rd. MUST have some production out of that spot - on both sides of the ball.

If he is the heir apparent at catcher, shouldnt we assume he's got a good glove and quick reaction time?

He definitely has my vote at third. I think its a great move.

I've never thought anyone looked stranger in a Tiger uniform than Didier. He plays worst at his position of anyone on the team and does not excel at the plate. Let's put anyone else.

He's not. He's backing up Gibbs because Wes Luquette was injured and now gone. Dozar pitched and played the infield (SS, I think) in high school.

Someone else will likely catch next year.

I dunno where Didier will ever play the field, doesn't seem to look good at 2nd base or 3rd. Guess he could eventually move into the outfield or 1st base if his bat were to get better.

You can tell he's a great athlete...

It would be nice if he could shore that one weak spot in the field...which happens to be the same weak spot on offense.
