The last day of the round of 16 is here and we see:

Barcelona-Stuttgart agg.(1-1)
And
Bordeaux-Olympiakos agg.(1-0)

I've got Barca winning 3-0 and a Bordeaux tie 1-1.

What say ye fellow soccer f@gs?

Barca. No question.

And I think the Greeks pull the other one out. I didn't get to watch the game, was the first leg home or away for the Frenchies?

Xavi being out is definitely not ideal but they have Keita and busquets can fill that role adequately. Keita is more of a goal threat that Xavi is but not nearly the maestro that Xavi is. I'm not worried either way because our midfield is stacked either way. We'll have to see though

I'd. Bet that Sergio gets it being that Keita is just returning from injury, but don't hold me to it.

Last year at the same stage, Barca demolished a good Lyon team 5-2 at home after drawing 1-1 away. I'm not worried, plus the players seem ready.

so king, just to be bitchy*, if barca don't go through and lose la liga, do you think they get castrated in the media the way real did?

*after all i have a bitter taste in my mouth from cheering for them today

No because barca are a likeable team full of likeable players. They also didn't cause controversy last year by blowing up the transfer market and spending 200 million euros.

what?!!! you think madrid has unlikeable players?!! the hell you say?! c ron is a big ole putty tat and sergio is the most humble sevilliano you'll ever (not) meet. and guti, he's just a mad genius. my team are all lovely people who are just misunderstood

and dani alves is not likable, sorry
