Would anyone assume that this means Sentreal has some idea of what type sanctions USC might be getting? If so you would thinkt that the sanctions won't be much...

Never knew his eligibility was in question.

this is what i found interesting. i think this may have been the big issue. he said he was going to wait on the sanctions ruling but nothings happened yet and he signs anyway.

Not smart on the kid's or his family's part. If USC gets sanctions, you just assure yourself that you won't be playing in the postseason for probably a while. Not smart again for playing for Kiffin the douchebag. The kid doesn't even have to sign a national letter of intent, it's not required, so why do it at all much less before the outcome of the investigation is released? Just not very smart!

Don't see this happening. Not to SC. After all, they are LA's pro franchise, right?

TD.com will be fun when USC gets their loss of a couple of schollies for 2-3 years.

Max punishment IMO. It would be like only letting my kid watch 1.75 of the 2 hours of American Idol on Tuesday night. Oh wait. That might actually hurt!

I concur that nothing will happen to USC regarding sanctions.

Kenny Hillard is holding a number 4 jersey!! Randle committed to LSU because Miles said he could have the number 4.

this fool was sounding good until I read the whole article:

quote:

One official directly connected to the investigation was directly quoted as saying that the only matter for discussion at this point is the severity of the sanctions. It is all but assured that the Trojans will lose a significant number of scholarships and bowl eligibility for as many as two years, and will not be appearing on television. USC may very well pay the price for the trend, as the NCAA will in all likelihood look to set an example of the Trojans, leveling some rather harsh penalties and probation. It isn’t as if we didn’t see it coming; Pete Carroll jumping ship the way he did pretty well tipped us all off.

quote:

Let these kids collect a few hundred bucks a week. Let them afford a car and food. Take away the need for temptation, and you can eliminate much of the problem at the source.
like $200 would change anything
